Truck In The Tree

When Luke Madson told his dad, Mark, he needed some help to build a Tree House, he had no idea what he was in for.

It seems as if the tree was made to hold this truck, because it fits perfectly between the two massive trunks of the tree. It fits so tight in fact, that Luke and his buddies have to crawl in through the windows, "Dukes of Hazzard" style.

Once they are inside, they can drive anywhere their imagination can take them. With the sounds of Interstate Highway 43 and the sway of the tree in the breeze, it's not hard to make believe that you are Peter Pan.

Of course, you have to provide your own engine sounds, with the help of your vibrating lips, and the radio will play any song you like, as long as you know the words. The box provides plenty of room to play, or to just lay back and watch the clouds drift by.

There's nothing like a truck lifted to the sky or in the sky for that matter. Ford F150 lift kits from AmericanTrucks do just that, for cheap.

Immortal Tattoos, Tattoo

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you.....

What more can I say about my friend, Terence, getting my Studio's name tattooed? Immortal Tattoos being Immortalized !!

To the haters who post comments on some forum about my art-work and work hygiene, why not come face to face and tell me about it? Are you too scared? I am calling you out... Come out, come out, wherever you are....Fucking Faggot !

I am not running away. I am coming out openly. You haters are the ones, hiding in a lonely place. So, lets not waste each others time. My studio's address is on the right hand column. So do drop by and tell me FACE to FACE, how much you hate it or how much I suck at what I do. See ya soon ! Well, maybe I won't.
- You guys probably hiding under your mummy's skirt... Oh well...

Until next time folks... Love ya all !!

Liz Presents a Cherry Tattoo

The winter in New York City has not been kind to us here at Tattoosday. Inkspotting is operating at minimum visibility, but we try not to let that discourage us.

This afternoon, passing through Penn Station, I spotted some knuckle tattoos on Liz, who gladly complied with my request to photograph them. Check them out here over on KnuckleTattoos.com.

The drawback of talking to people waiting for the L.I.R.R. is, at some point, their train will flash on the board, and they'll dash off. Cognizant that the departure time of Liz was rapidly approaching, I asked if she had any other tattoos I could feature.

Unfortunately she was bundled up against the cold, and the bulk of her 30-plus tattoos were not easily viewable.

She did present to me, on the left side of her neck, these cherries:

No earth-shattering story here, folks, Liz just likes cherries. She had this inked at Tattoo Mania on Staten Island by an artist named "O'Brien 7," or just "7".

Thanks to Liz for sharing her ink with us here on Tattoosday!

Urban Furniture, the Art of SpY

SpY is an artist from Madrid. His first actions appeared in the middle eighties. Shortly after, already a national reference as a graffiti artist, he started to work with other forms of artistic communication in the street: large posters, modified billboards, interventions that were experimental in the first nineties.

His work consists in the playful reappropiation of urban elements, that he replicates or transforms and then installs in the street. All his production stems from the observation of the urban environment, a sense sharpened by years of experience as a graffiti artist. A careful attention for the context of each piece and a constructive and non-invasive attitude unmistakably characterize his actions.
